Informasi menyebutkan Ari Saputra yang anggota komisi II DPRD Way Kanan itu ditangkap Tim BNN Provinsi Lampung, sepekan jelang bulan Ramadhan April 2022 lalu. Dia ditangkap dibilangan Kaliawi, saat petugas melakukan pengembangan dari salah seorang bandar yang lebih dulu di tangkap.
“Dia (Ari Saputra), ditangkap saat petugas melakukan pengembangan dari salah seorang bandar. Pelaku tiba tiba memesan barang narkoba jenis sabu, melalui handphone, saat sang pengedar ditangkap, Dan kemudian pelaku ikut diamankan. Status dan jabatan apa kita tidak tahu,” kata sumber di BNN Provinsi Lampung, Minggu 29 Mei 2022.
Ironisnya, Ari Saputra yang tersandung kasus Narkoba itu justru mendapat izin cuti selama tiga bulan dari Ketua Fraksi PAN, yang juga ketua DPD PAN Way Kanan, Rozali. Termasuk surat pengajuan permohonan rehab.
Dalam surat permohonan rehabilitasi dari ketua DPD PAN Way Kanan tertanggal 11 Mei 2022, yang ditujukan Kepala Loka Rehabilitasi BNN Kalianda Kabupaten Lampung Selatan, dengan Hal Permohonan Rehabilitasi Rawat Jalan,
Ketua DPD PAN Way Kanan Rozali menyebutkan pengajukan permohonan kepada Kepala Loka Rehabiltasi BNN Kalianda Kabupaten Lampung Selatan untuk Rehabilitasi secara rawat jalan terhadap saudaraku Ari Saputra terkait dengan riwayat Penyalahgunaan Narkotika sebelumnya.
Alasanya dikarenakan saudara Ari Saputra mempunyai kewajiban aktif dalam seluruh kegiatan partai , wajib hadir pada agenda Badan Musyawarah DPRD Kabupaten Way Kanan , dan wajib mengikuti Rapat Hearing di DPRD Kabupaten Way Kanan.
“Oleh karena itu , saya (Ketua DPD PAN) mengajukan permohonan untuk melanjutkan Rehabilitasi secara rawat jalan kepada Bapak Kepala Loka Rehabilitasi BNN Kalianda , Lampung Selatan,” kata Rozali dalam surat tersebut, yang diketahui Kepala Kampung Kampung Tanjung Eko Harianto.
Ari Saputra sendiri melalui Ketua Fraksi dalam SURAT KETERANGAN IZIN CUTI Nomor : A.108 / F.P – PAN / DPRD – WK / V / 2022, ditanda tangani Ketua Fraksi Partai Amanat Nasional DPRD Kabupaten Way Kanan, menerangkan bahwa Ari Saputra, Jabatan : Anggota DPRD Kabupaten Way Kanan, Fraksi Partai Amanat Nasional, adalah Anggota Komisi II DPRD Kabupaten Way Kanan dari Fraksi Partai Amanat Nasional ( PAN ) periode 2019-2024 .
Izin tersebut dikarenakan saudaraku Ari Saputra sedang menjalani Rehabilitasi terkait penyalahgunaan Narkoba di Loka Rehabilitasi BNN Kalianda . Dan Ari Saputra hanya diberikan izin cuti selama tiga bulan terhitung dari tanggal 13 April – 13 Juli 2022. Tanggal surat juga sama dengan permohonan rehab yaitu tangga , 11 Mei 2022.
