Kapolres Nabire AKBP I Ketut Suarnaya, S.I.K.,S.H., sebagai pimpinan apel, yang dihadiri oleh Waka Polres Nabire Kompol Ramadhona, S.H., S.I.K, Para Kabag, Kasat, Kapolsek Terdekat, Perwira, Danki BKO Brimob Nusantara Iptu Subianto dan Personil Polres Nabire serta personel BKO Brimob Nusantara.
“Dalam arahannya Kapolres menyampaikan “Kita Ketahui bersama pada besok akan ada rencana aksi pendapat di muka umum oleh sekelompok orang dengan sasaran di Kantor DPRD Kabupaten Nabire. Ada beberapa titik kumpul massa aksi unjuk rasa dan akan melaksanakan aksi longmarch, sehingga rekan-rekan dibagi sesuai dengan titik plotingan.” Kata Kapolres.
Polri dalam hal menangani suatu rencana kegiatan masyarakat harus dilakukan upaya pendahaluan, tidak bisa langsung terjun untuk melaksanakan kegiatan pengamanan.
“Upaya-upaya pendahuluan sebelumnya kita sudah lakukan berbagai metode teknis untuk meredam dan meminimalisir potensi ancaman menjelang hari pelaksanan aksi unjuk rasa besok, maka itu kita juga melakukan upaya pendahaluan yaitu mengecek kesiapan dan perlengkapan yang akan kita gunakan besok hari,” tutur Kapolres.
Sesuatu yang dipenuhi dengan persiapan dan pengecekan pada pelaksanaannya anggota siap dilapangan, dibandingkan dengan suatu kegiatan yang dihadapi tanpa dilakukan persiapan dan pengecekan terlebih dahulu.
“Maka itu disinilah kita akan mengecek kesiapan personil sesuai dengan plotingan, sarana prasarana, alat perlindungan diri, alat-alat pengendalian massa dan sebagainya,” ucap Kapolres.
“Pada besok saat pelaksanaan hanya final cek saja, mengecek sesuai dengan SOP dalam hal pengendalian massa di lapangan. Terimakasih kepada rekan-rekan semua yang sudah hadir dalam apel pergelaran ini, kita maksimalkan pasukan dilapangan termasuk back up dari Polsek – Polsek Jajaran untuk bergabung pada kegiatan pengamanan aksi unjuk rasa yang akan dilaksanakan pada besok hari,” jelas Kapolres.
Setelah dilaksanakan apel pengecekan kesiapan pasukan dan perlengkapan, dilanjutkan simulasi pengamanan pengendalian massa di halaman Mapolres Nabire.
