“Program ini bertujuan untuk membantu meningkatkan program Pemerintah Daerah untuk pencapaian pemenuhan hak atas pangan, meningkatkan ketahanan pangan nasional dan lokal, serta meningkatkan kemanunggalan TNI dengan rakyat guna kepentingan pertahanan negara,” ungkap Dandim 0422/LB Letkol Czi Anthon Wibowo.
Tak Hanya Itu Komandan Kodim 0422/LB mengatakan, “pembangunan demplot pertanian dan peternakan untuk ketahanan pangan sendiri merupakan program dari Satuan Komando Atas yaitu Mabes TNI AD, di mana satuan komando teritorial diperintahkan untuk melaksanakan kegiatan penyelenggaraan pembinaan ketahanan pangan”
“Lahan tidur dan tidak produktif dapat dimanfaatkan untuk pertanian dan Peternakan demi mengurangi pembukaan lahan baru yang dapat membantu mencapai target penurunan emisi gas rumah kaca,” ujar Dandim
Ia berharap, ketahanan pangan harus dipertahankan dan terus ditingkatkan, Selain tanaman jagung Peternakan Sapi Dn Kambingmenjadi salah satu primadona dalam agribisnis di Indonesia.
