JakartaBicara, Pesisir Barat – Bupati Pesisir Barat DR Drs. Agus Istiqlal, S.H., M.H, melepas atlet Selancar Kabupaten Pesisir Barat di Aula gedung KONI Pesisir Barat dalam ajang Perlombaan Surfing yang akan diadakan di Kabupaten Kaur, Provinsi Bengkulu.Senin (20/06/2022).
Hadir dalam acara tersebut diatas Plt. Sekda Kabupaten Pesisir Barat Ir. Jalaludin, M.P., Asisten Bidang Perekonomian dan Pembangunan Drs. Zukri Amin, M.P., Plt. Asisten Bidang Administrasi Umum Drs. Jon Edwar, M.Pd, dan Seluruh Kepala Dinas ataupun yang mewakili di Lingkungan Pemerintah Kabupaten Pesisir Barat.
Bupati Pesisir Barat memberikan semangat dan dukungan penuh kepada segenap atlet yang akan bertanding. Dalam pandemi global ini tidak menjadi alasan untuk tidak berprestasi khususnya di bidang olah raga surfing, dalam berkompetisi nanti tetaplah berkonsentrasi, punya satu tujuan untuk menjadi yang terbaik yakni juara.
Kabupaten Pesisir Barat sesungguhnya sejak dulu dikenal sebagai pencetak para atlet yang berprestasi khususnya atlet surfing,bukan hanya di tingkat daerah, nasional, regional bahkan internasional. Oleh karena itu, sebagai utusan Kabupaten Pesisir Barat saudara-saudara memiliki kesempatan besar untuk meraih prestasi guna mengharumkan nama Lampung dan tentu saja mengharumkan nama Kabupaten Pesisir Barat.
Diakhir sambutan Bupati berharap kepada seluruh atlet dan pelatih yang mewakili Kabupaten Pesisir Barat, ikuti even ini dengan sebaik-baiknya serta tunjukkan seluruh kemampuan sehingga dapat membanggakan seluruh masyarakat dan Pemkab Pesisir Barat.
Diketahui ada 20 atlit dan 5 official serta 1 pelatih yang akan berangkat dan mengikuti Lomba Surfing di Kabupaten Kaur ini.( Hijrah)
